"Rome wasn't built in a day" is the proverb that I like the most, for it has the wonderful meaning. In fact, this proverb's mean is you can't be successful in a short time, you have to take your time and try your best to do it, and then, the success will come to you. In my country, we also have one proverb has the same meaning with this one. That is "practice makes perfect".
I experienced about this proverb when I was 18 years old. At that time, I had to study a lot to graduate in high school. You know, it was very difficult because I really hate history, It has so many details I have to memorize. Unfortunately, history was one of 6 subjects that I had to take the final exam. It was terrible, I had to study a whole book's history that is very thick. I thought I can't do it; however, I did it very well. The reason why I can pass it is because I took my time a lot, and tried to study it everyday. When I forgot something, I went back and studied them again. Day to day, I got so many details about history. As a result, I graduated in high school with the high scores.
Therefore, in my opinion, nothing is impossible. We can do everything and it will be success, if we give up, we will be a loser.
I like your story; however, I love history! The proverb about Rome is very popular; a lot of students liked it.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Christine. Nothing is impossible if we do not give up and try to do your best.

DeleteHi Christine, I am totally agree. The things that you want to achieve are not easy; so you have to go step by step: and you have to learn in way. In my opinion this is what the live is, the "way" to learn.
ReplyDeleteYep, you're right. We want to achieve something because it is difficult to get it. If it is easy, we don't have to pursue. ^_^
DeleteYes, Finally, you did it !
ReplyDeleteIf you want something that you never have, you must do something you never done before. Cheer up!
