My country also has spring break like in the US. However, it takes place in February not March or April, and it has the other name is Tet holiday as well. Actually, that holiday is quite similar to Lunar New Year. In general, children and adult will have around 13 days to take a break. On that days before Tet holiday comes, people will re-decorate their house, buy new clothes, and cook traditional food to prepare for Tet holiday.
When the holiday begins, everybody will go to pagodas or churches to pray some good things for their family. After that, they will get together in their ancestor's house to worship and eat traditional food on the first day of the holiday. After having lunch together, children will talk some good things for adults; and then, they will be given lucky money as well as good wishes from adults. Actually, that is the best thing children is always excited when Tet holiday comes. Therefore, it is similar to Lunar New Year, and it is called the spring break like America in Vietnam as well.
I'm pleased to know how is the party in Vietnam. I've never heard about it and I like it. Please later on tell me more details about this holiday. Ok? Thanks
